Homeowners at Parkstone create Resident Advisory Board
Posted by admin under: Main Jan 26
At Sharp Residential’s single-family community in Forsyth County, Parkstone, residents are working to make their community one they will look forward to coming home to for years to come. As homeowners move in to the new homes available at the community, new residents are encouraged to join the Resident Advisory Board which was created by current homeowners to ensure excellent communication between Sharp Residential, homeowners and the community’s management company. The single-family homes at Parkstone are from Sharp’s Classic, New Traditions and Horizons home series, and are priced from the $200,000s to $400,000s.
Of the many tasks and responsibilities of the Resident Advisory Board, one of the most enticing is planning community events and fundraisers. Most recently, Parkstone hosted its second annual Fall Festival, which primarily focuses on providing fun activities for children in the neighborhood. However, this year a fundraising component was added and $500 was raised. On this beautiful fall day, 130 residents attended the festival to dine on Sloppy Joes and hot dogs, paint a pumpkin, get a temporary tattoo, participate in various raffles and sip hot cocoa after the sun went down. This year’s festival was a tremendous success, and hopefully the social committee of the Resident Advisory Board will continue to make this annual event bigger and better every year.
