Made of acrylic, this sofa is designed by Waazwiz from Japan. Hmm.. I can hear my wife now, “Honey, you forgot to turn off the sofa.” Wonder if it gets warm.
Designed by Douglas Homer, Afterglow is a glow-in-the-dark Adirondack chair for when you’re sitting in the dark woods.
Italian Lavabo has glowing bath tubs and sinks. We posted on these last year.
Fuwapica (”soft and flashy”) tables have sensors which shoot wireless signals out to the chairs. The colors will pulse in the chairs, depending on who sits on them– sorta like a mood ring. The Japanese designers (scientists from Osaka University) call it interactive furniture. Read more here.
The Jellyfish Lounge is really unique. It uses bioluminescent bacteria to produce the lighting effect. It’s part of the Symbiotic Bacterial Light Project of Dr. Kathy Takayama and John Nicholson. You may not want to use this during flu season.

Last but not least, and a personal favorite, is the Allureglow Toilet Seat. Great when it’s dark and you gotta glow go.
