Real Estate Website Package Ripoffs

I’ve posted about this before. Real estate agents go to these web seminars and some real estate guru sells them a “system” for the web that promises to provide all of their content, seo, and everything they need to run their real estate business on the web.

First of all, just like in vegas, there are no “systems” that work for everyone on the web, not even in a niche market. Any of these so-called gurus that tell you they have a system that will get you ranked high in the search engines and will bring you a lot of traffic are liars.

They may even believe their own hype and not be lying. They may actually think what they are doing will work. But it always turns out that the systems don’t really help anyone but the people who own them.

There are countless companies that target real estate agencies and individual agents, offering “complete web site packages” and “custom solutions” that always include “search engine optimization” so you can “maximize your traffic and sell more houses.”

Barf.
