Blogging for dollars? WHAT dollars?

According to the Boston Globe’s article by Carolyn Y. Johnson you can make quite a bit of money by selling advertising on blog sites and cutting deals with syndicates to post your articles elsewhere.
Kind of defeats the purpose in the Real Estate blogosphere. At least that’s what I think. How would you feel if I had ads for contractors, lenders, and appraisers going up and down the right hand side of my column instead of websites that can help you find homes and apartments for rent and sale?
Being published on other sites is cool. Who wouldn’t want that? One thing is for sure, you’ll never see an ad up here on the BostonRealEstateBlog.com
